Hi, my name is Gladys. On December 7, my brother Silverio Mata passed away. He had two small dogs and two cats, and they were his whole family. My cousin took the two dogs and one of the cats. I took the elderly cat because I was the one that found her nine years ago, and he adopted her and took her to Florida. She is the sweetest little cat, but right now, funds are very tight, and I don't have a credit card. I'm going through my own financial issues. The problem is, she is sick. I think she might be diabetic, but I'm not sure. I cannot take her to the vet until the 30th of the month, and even then, I can only afford the office visit and maybe one test as long as everything is under $200. I can afford to take her and find out what's wrong. I'm worried that maybe she won't make it till then. I don't know, so I thought I would try this to raise some money to get her in and get her taken care of. I owe my brother that much, and losing him and then losing his cat would be devastating. So, I'm asking for whatever you can spare, and it will go just to her. Her name is Patches. We estimate that she's around 15 years old, but she pees a lot for a cat, and she's thin, which are big signs of diabetes. I wouldn't have trouble taking care of her because I've had two dogs who were diabetic, and if I had the funds right now, she would be at the vet.
