I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to compete in one of the hardest triathlons in the world (3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42.2km run), set in the breathtaking but unforgiving terrain of Patagonia. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime challenge — one that will test every ounce of physical strength, mental resilience, and determination I have.
What makes this journey even more meaningful is that my 13-year-old son will be part of my official support crew, a mandatory role required for this event. He will not only help me through the toughest moments of the race, but he will also run the final 12 km alongside me, helping me cross the finish line. Sharing this experience together is something we will both carry with us forever — a lesson in perseverance, commitment, and the power of believing in yourself even when things feel impossible.
This race is known for its extreme conditions, remote location, and demanding course, making it one of the most challenging endurance events in the world. Preparing for and traveling to Patagonia comes with significant costs, including race entry, travel, accommodations, and required safety logistics for both myself and my son.
I am reaching out for support to help make this dream possible. Any contribution, big or small, will directly help us get to the start line and allow us to take on this extraordinary challenge together.
Your support means more than just funding a race — it helps create an unforgettable experience between a parent and child, built on resilience, courage, and the pursuit of something truly extraordinary.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
