Patricia Paul Health Journey

Hello, I am writing on behalf of Beth El Bible Church. As a church family we are looking to raise funds for our beloved Pastor (Eric) and his wife, Pat. Pat was diagnosed with diffused large B-cell lymphoma in October of 2020, at the height of covid. Her cancer is located under her right arm. Quickly after being diagnosed, she was treated with the standard R-Chop chemotherapy (six sessions) as well as four weeks of radiation. Unfortunately the results of these treatments were not enough to beat this very aggressive cancer. She is now being cared for at Texas Oncology under the supervision of MD Anderson in Houston, TX. While the Pauls are presently in El Paso, they have had to travel to Houston often. The hope is that Pat is able to receive a treatment called CAR-T. Pat has not yet been approved to receive this treatment that quite possibly could save her life. This treatment is not yet FDA approved, very expensive, and is done in two stages. The duration is about 30 days, in which isolation will be required. We are asking for prayers for healing. Pray also for travel mercies and strength and endurance during this time. If you have ever met Pat, you have been blessed by her incredible grace and kindness. She is a beautiful woman of God and our hearts are breaking for her, Pastor Eric, their daughter, Karis, and the rest of the family.
