My name is Mindy and I am fundraising to help my older brother, Patrick. The most caring, loving, and charismatic man I know. This is a person who has always put people before him no mater the cost. He is always there for everyone in his life, whether it be a small loan or a place to live, he is always there for you. He is a hard working man that carries the world on his shoulders. Unfortunately just before Thanksgiving this year he fell ill and not thinking much of it he just layed low and stayed home. As time progressed he wasn't feeling any better so he went to the local hospital. He was informed that he had phenomena. When the medicine prescribed did not work he returned to the hospital and discovered that he also has a large infection in his chest cavity. In severe cases this infection can crystallize on the lungs and will require a surgeon to essentially scrape it off. He is currently in the hospital receiving treatment and we hope to avoid surgery on his lungs. However his case is severe and surgery is still on the table. Even when he is in the clear it will still be several weeks before he will be well enough to return to work and have life normalize. We are fundraising to help cover some cost of monthly bills and the hospital bills that are undoubtedly coming. THIS is a man that is ALWAYS there for everyone and I ask that we show him the support he shows everyday.
