On April 16th 2018 my father Pat O'Boyle suffered a stroke and scared us all. Miraculously he started progressing just hours after his stroke, upon doing tests they discovered a rapid spreading lung cancer and scheduled him immediately for a lobectomy. This is where a major part of his left lung needed to be removed. On May 29th 2018 he had this procedure done and it went well we are hopeful his cancer is now gone. However, 3 days after surgery he became incoherent and non verbal. He has developed pneumonia and had  atrial fibrillation. Doctors have yet to figure out why his neurological state is the way it is. My mother Peggy has put work aside to be with him while we wait for answers and healing. My dad has not been able to work since the stroke. I am hoping our loved ones can come together and even donate just a small amount to take off some of the financial burden it has caused them. Thank you all for the continued prayers and support.
