Hello everyone,

My name is Jen Smith and I'm Pat and Mary's sister in law. I created this fundraiser to help Pat and Mary Smith with their medical bills and general living expenses. Pat has been sick for quite some time, being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called sacral chordoma in 2012. Unfortunately Pat's cancer has metastasized to his liver and other areas of his body. Pat's battle has been a long one, requiring many doctors visits and procedures, and the bills are really starting to add up. The situation is compounded with Mary getting breast cancer last summer and not being unable to work due to the continuous care that Pat needs.
