Hello,

Our family in Jamaica, my mother and grandmother, have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. The eye of the Category 5 storm passed just a few miles from their home, leaving devastating damage in its wake.

Many of our friends and family will remember the house from our wedding in 2014. The roof has been torn off, the gardens destroyed, and the surrounding area badly hit. It’s heartbreaking, and recovery will take years. Power isn’t expected to be restored until mid-November.

This is hard to ask, but we’re reaching out for any support you might be able to give to help Pat and Grandma Lamey rebuild and stay safe during this difficult time.
