My name is Robert Lepatu. I am doing this Fundraising Campaign for my Uncle, Pastor Jimson Sauk, aged 66. He had a  severe chest pain two days ago and was rushed to Emergency Dept of Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. Further investigation showed extensive damage to his coronary arteries  and Doctors recommended that he get an immediate  multiple bypass surgery. The operation will cost at least $75,000 plus hospital costs. 

He came to Sydney from Papua New Guinea a few days ago, to visit his daughter & grand kids. She  is  here on an  AUSAID scholarship studying Masters in International Public Health in UNSW.

Because he is a visitor and has no medical insurance cover, he could not afford to pay for operation. The cost to stay in the hospital is  more than $3,000 a night for general ward and more than $5,000 a night for ICU.  We have to take him out of the hospital after one night because he ran out of money.  He is now in his daughter's home living on a prayer. He has no money to pay for the operations.  This kind of operation is not available in PNG. He has no idea how long he has got to live without this life-saving operation.

We would like to appeal to friends, church families,  kind hearted people and anyone with  compassion, to do whatever your heart compels you to do.
