Hi Friends! This is Todd & Rachel Reeves. We are putting together a GoFundMe for a very special man in our lives. It's Pastor G. For all of you that know him, you know what an amazing man this is, and all that he has done and is still doing to change and impact lives. The reality is that Rachel and I would have never met if it wasn't for them. They have been like parents to us and I know to MANY others.
He just found out that he has prostate cancer AGAIN! The reason I am setting this up is because they have a portion of the money to get the procedure done but it is literally their life savings. We don't want them to drain all their resources to get this done, and I know there are others that feel the same way. Insurance will not cover it which makes me so mad, because it is the same procedure that he had in 2007 that got rid of it the first time! This procedure has the least amount of treatments, recovery, and side effects. And it has worked before!
So I am asking for anyone that is willing and able to give something to lighten the blow of this devastating news. Even if you don't know them, you could be a huge part in giving this man a chance to have many more years as a husband, father figure, servant, leader, friend, and a person that sacrifices and LOVES to help others.
They were saving the money to start another discipleship home. I want to raise the money so that they don't have to drain that hard earned savings. He deserves it!
PLEASE pray for them and PLEASE give. Every dollar counts! They know so many people and so do we. If we all pitch in a little it adds up. I honestly would love to raise money for the procedure plus some for their new venture.
Guys, I lost my dad a year ago and it is a real eye opener to how important our loved ones are. I am not going to live life with regrets. That is why I want to be a part of keeping this man alive and well as long as possible!
Please give what you can. There is no doubt that it is better to give than to receive.
