Memorial services for a beloved man

Rev Dr. Kent F. Austin Jr. was a husband, father, pastor, school principal, friend, brother, son, former police officer, and low-key comedian.
He enjoyed puzzles, gadgets, dad-jokes, and taking care of his family (his pride and joy).
He loved the Lord, and loved helping others.
He once told me that he became a cop because he wanted to help people, and he later became a pastor because he wanted to save people.

Kent is in heaven now, and to hear stories about his character is truly inspiring. He was a strong and respected man!

I started this fundraiser because my best friend lost his dad, and now he and his mom are making their best efforts to pick up the pieces, but I’m hoping we can all pitch in a little to help lessen the burden, as we know how expensive death can be.
Anything and everything helps, and will be greatly appreciated!
The Austin’s have a lot of love and support, and there isn’t an ounce of it that they don’t deserve! They’re the most genuine people I know!
