Hi. My name is Pastor Tommy Watson. I am the band director of the "Soul Rockers of the South" marching band in Tallulah, Louisiana. We have been given the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada in January 2025 to participate in the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their gifts and talents on a larger stage in another part of the country. We have participated in many events across the South, entertaining thousands of people from concerts, festivals, parades, weddings, and even funerals, thus helping us to take on the nickname "Soul Rockers of the South."

Unfortunately, we live in a highly impoverished area of the state and desperately need your help in funding this trip. Our goal is to raise approximately $75,000, which would cover travel, lodging, and food for approximately 80 people (students and chaperones).
