My dear friend Pastor Michael Hill, his wife Kristi, and their five children have been dealing with the burden of an undiagnosed illness over the past few months. In April, Pastor Mike went to the doctor due to some eye redness; since then, he has undergone numerous medical tests, including a trip to the Cleveland Clinic. They have been able to rule out many diseases but have not determined what is causing the eye infection. He has experienced blindness in spots that they're still hoping aren't permanent and has been on a high dose of steroids, and will soon begin infusions of medicine. Through all this, Kristi also experienced some serious medical issues (which thankfully have been resolved), but between the two, they had to go to doctor's appointments nearly daily at times. They are so grateful to the church members who have helped care for their children, who range in age from 5 - 14, so they could support each other by going to appointments together. They are unsure what the future will bring, but the burden of all this weighs heavily, and medical bills and travel expenses have created more stress. This wonderful family needs all our prayers and support right now.
