Pastor Jhun (Daddy Aquafina)

Hello, family and friends of the Jhun family!  Pastor Jhun is a retired pastor, husband to Mama Jhun, and father to Michelle (affectionately known to the UCLA Unicamp community as Aquafina) and Eugene.  

Unfortunately, he suffered from a stroke this past Saturday, coincidentally on his 75th birthday.  

While Pastor Jhun does have Medicare, household expenses like rent and food are covered by Mama Jhun and her two jobs, one of which she's had to give up to be by Pastor Jhun during this time. Michelle recently graduated from medical school and hasn't yet started residency (and thus earning a paycheck), and Eugene helps financially as much as he can. Nevertheless, this wonderful family needs some help in this difficult time.

The next several months will be tight for the family financially as they pool their resources to support Pastor Jhun on his road to recovery. Michelle doesn't yet know where she will match for her residency, and Eugene works and lives in San Diego. Mama Jhun will need as much support as possible to help take care of Pastor Jhun now and as he recovers. Funds will be used to help with rent, food, transport to the hospital and rehab centers, potentially hiring help for Pastor Jhun when he comes home, etc.

Finances are the last thing the family needs to worry about right now as they also have Mama Jhun's sister in Korea recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Pastor Jhun is also a cancer survivor, and the family was still just establishing their new norm after that chapter when this happened.  We're hoping that with everyone's prayers and a small financial contribution, we can take some of their burdens as they try to get through this together.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated, and if you can't contribute, please feel free to post prayers and send love! Every bit helps!
