Help Haiti Mission Fund

Donation protected

Hello!

I am raising money for a pastor in Haiti named Jaques Nestor who is currently in desperate need! Jaques lives in a small village outside of the city of Arcahaie in Haiti and has taken the responsibility upon himself to care for many children who have lost their parents during the major earthquake that devastated the country in the year of 2010.

Jaques is currently in the process of buying a piece of property to begin building a church building to house the orphans and care for the community but as of now he only has a temporary tent structure which is giving way to the weather and continual rains. The landlord was asking $2,000 for the property but because his wife is sick, he was graciously willing to drop the price to $1,200 of which $300 will immediately be used to help fund her transportation and medical costs.

Once the property has been paid for, Jaques plans to begin building a church structure with the help of laborers from the community who are currently waiting for God to answer their prayers and provide them with the resources which will cost $2,200 to purchase 3,000 blocks, 60 bags of cement, 110 poles, and 5 trucks of sand!

In addition to the amount required to buy the property and build the church, Jaques needs at least $25 each week to feed the children. Jaques continually looks for work in the city so that he can keep the children fed, but since the country is so poverty stricken and is still recovering from the earthquake in 2010, work is hard to find. Many days he comes home empty handed and weeps because he was not able to feed the children.

This is where you can help!

Included in this fundraiser for Haiti will be enough to provide food and water for 3 months, a total of $300.

*In case you would like to know, funds will be sent through Western Union where it is tracked upon arrival and then I will follow up with Jaques to see that the money is used accordingly.

I must say that despite the claims about illegitimate orphanages and scam artists arising out of Haiti since the earthquake, I have seen that my friend Jaques is an honest, faithful, and genuine man who truly has a father’s heart for these children. He confessed to me that after praying for 7 years, a small donation of mine to help buy food was literally an answered prayer. It was at this point I decided to commit to our relationship and say YES to what I believe God is leading me to do! After all, how can I expect God, or anyone, provide for my needs if I am not willing to provide for the needs of others? It is to have a mutual relationship with mankind that the God of all creation sent his Son Jesus Christ to earth, that we would choose to live for Him who died for us!

When I was looking at one of the photos of a small shelter in his village, I must admit that I began to weep uncontrollably and felt greatly humbled to be presented with the opportunity to help those living in such dire circumstances. I cannot do this alone and need your help! If you feel led answer this call, please seriously consider sowing a seed of faith to help these children. I believe that by giving to this cause, you will be blessed with the joy of knowing that your Creator in Heaven is pleased with your selflessness and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of someone else, for this is the heart of Jesus Christ who laid down his life for all mankind that they would not perish from the price of sin which is eternal death but receive forgiveness and have eternal life!

Matthew 25:31-46

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

By investing into the lives of these children, you are helping to change the world of tomorrow one precious soul at a time.

Don't let their destiny die from starvation!

Take advantage of this opportunity to be the love of God to those who are in desperate need of it.

If we live for ourselves we will die alone, but if we lay down our lives for one another we will find that it was worth it in the end.

Thank you so very much for your time and consideration in partnering with me to bless the people of Haiti.

May God richly bless you in the name of Jesus Christ!

:D

Sincerely,

Ethan Caple
