Pastor Dean Nichols

Hey everyone! On Friday, July 1st, 2022, our dad Dean Nichols had a stroke while pulling into his driveway. The vehicle struck their home's A/C unit, making it completely inoperable and damaging their car. Dad was taken to the hospital where he stayed for several days and they were able to confirm that he had had a stroke.

On Tuesday, July 5th, they transferred him to a rehabilitation facility here in Fort Worth where he’s having to undergo daily physical therapy. At this time, it’s unknown how long he’ll have to stay there. Due to the stroke, he’s currently not able to return to his bi-vocational job.

Our dad would never ask for this type of help, and yet he’s given his whole life to helping other people from his military service to his time as a beat cop in Houston, and over 40 years of pastoring and shepherding others. Dad loves serving as the FWPD chaplain and we are all hopeful for a quick recovery so he can continue doing what he loves.

Any funds given will go towards replacing their home's AC unit, hospital bills, and supplementing his lost income until he's back on his feet.
