Update: God is so good! Pastor Baughman was finally able to come home! He has a long road to recovery, but we are beyond thankful he is able to get better at home with his loved ones! He is still very weak, but his spirit is strong! He has a follow-up appointment this Friday with his primary care doctor and on Tuesday with the vascular doctor to discuss a game plan for the blood clots. He is working very hard to get healthy so that he can continue preaching and supporting his family. Please continue to pray for his health and for good news from his upcoming doctors appointments. Update: Pastor Baughman is still in the ICU ; however, the doctors have been able to cut the oxygen he is requiring in half!! Late Wednesday night, Mr. Baughman was experiencing significant pain throughout his leg which prompted the doctors to do a CT to determine what was causing the pain and what they found has created some cause for concern. He has two blood clots- one small and one large, with the large one requiring surgery. At this time, Pastor Baughman is not stable enough for surgery and will have to continue to fight this awful virus in order to get well enough for the surgery. Through all of this, he has kept his spirits high and his trust in the Lord. God is truly working to heal him and your prayers are working. Please continue to pray that the Lord would touch and heal Mr. Baughman. We know God is able.
Pastor Sean Baughman was admitted to Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center due to respiratory complications from Covid-19 on Thursday, November 12. On Friday morning, his oxygen levels dropped significantly and doctors made the decision to move him into the ICU where he could be closely monitored. His breathing didn’t progress as much as the doctors would like and he had a scare Saturday night when his left lung collapsed and the doctors had to insert a chest tube. He has a long battle to fight ahead and not only has this created a physical strain, but a financial strain as well. Being a business owner has its perks, but when you are sick and unable to work, funds stop coming in. Any donation would be a major help as he begins this long journey to get healthy again. All donations will be used to pay medical bills and help alleviate the financial burden caused by Pastor Baughman's inability to work.
