On December 14th our friend Andrew Hirschman was admitted to the hospital with Cardio Myopathy - his heart would sporadically elevate to dangerous levels and then go back to normal.
The long and short is that after stabilizing his heart, they're still in the process of figuring out what the base problem is. One of three likely conditions is ARVC (arrythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy). After further tests we'll see more specifically what the underlying problem is. For now, though the symptoms are controlled by a newly installed ICD (implanted cardiovascular defibrillator), it's a watch and wait situation.
Andy is expected to be discharded from the University Hospital before Christmas.
Now, this go fund me is to rally all of us who love Andy, his wife Jennifer and his kids, to help them with the medical bills and they will begin to flood in.
Andy is the pastor of Calvary Ballard a new church planted in Ballard - finances have been an act of faith for the past 5 years and now with this situation we want to help out.
We hope to help this lovely family and this amazing man in thier time of need.
