About Pasta it Forward: 

The Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce the start of “Pasta IT Forward,” a new initiative to feed those in need during the trying times as a result of COVID-19 and the corresponding economic difficulties. 

Our mission is simple: Support anyone in need from seniors to local healthcare and hospital heroes who are working in wartime-like conditions.

Covid-19 is having the greatest impact on seniors and those most vulnerable in our society. Many people are unable to work because their business or the company they work for are not considered an essential service. 

At the same time, essential services are open and our frontline workers are putting in long hours. 

All of these people, regardless of which group we want to talk about, could use a little extra help right now. 

In less than a week we have gained the support of several major donor partners for all the materials necessary to prepare over 15,000 portions of “pasta al forno” that are being delivered all over Toronto, the GTA, Vaughan, Brampton and Mississauga.

The tray of pasta is free of charge, and they simply ask that one day, if and when you can, you pay it forward in some way to help someone in need.

Thank you for your donation, we hope we can keep Pasta-ing it forward so long as this crisis continues!

Our goal is to feed 500+ meals daily to anyone in need as well as healthcare workers across Toronto, GTA, Vaughan, Mississauga and Brampton. Here are a list of hospitals and facilities we are currently delivering to:

How It Works

- 100% of the funds will be used to purchase, make and deliver meals

- For every $50 donated we will be able to produce 10 meals under our Pasta it Forward initiative in the commercial kitchen of Chateau Le Jardin Banquet Hall

About Us

“Pasta it Forward,” is a new initiative by the Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation to feed those in need during the trying times as a result of COVID-19 and the corresponding economic difficulties. 

“Feeding our community and helping those in need is what we do” said Frances Tibollo, President of the Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation.
