Natalie is a 29 year old women who’s fight begun when she noticed an unusual lump in her left breast in May 2016.
After further investigation Natalie was informed that she has breast cancer. She underwent surgery to have the cancerous tissue removed, during surgery it was discovered that an additional two lumps had formed within the same breast.
Further testing was conducted to determine the type of cancer Natalie had, as well whether the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. The results came in and Natalie was informed she was dealing with two different types of aggressive cancer.
Natalie’s road to recovery has begun with urgent chemotherapy, radiation treatment and hormone replacement therapy. Unfortunately during this process Natalie will also lose all of her hair.
She has consulted with numerous specialists and has been informed that due to her age & other contributing factors she is at high risk of the cancer returning. With this Natalie has learned she will need to undergo a double mastectomy.
Natalie has a long road ahead but is in good spirits and is very appreciative of all of the love and support she continues to receive from her partner, children, family, friends and community.
The funds raised will cover all out of pocket medical expenses, travelling costs to get to treatment facilities and to support Natalie and her family in any way necessary whilst she’s too unwell to attend work.
We’re trying to raise as much funds as possible in a small amount of time so that financial debt is one less worry Natalie has on her shoulders.
