Passing of our beloved Amir

Our beloved Derrell Amir Walker passed away in a tragic car accident and lost his life on his way into work on January 16th, 2023. Amir was an incredible friend to many, a son, a big brother, partner and most recently a father to his 4 month old son, Dakari.

Amir dedicated his life to his family and his friends. His positive attitude and smile was contagious. Amir knew the meaning of dedication, hard work and always did his best to support his mother, brother, sister and son to make ends meet. He had aspirations to continue his education and graduate with an accounting/finance degree.

We are all devastated by Amir’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Amir the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Amir’s funeral and support his family in these trying times.
