It is with great sorrow that the Maisel family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Mitchell Maisel. His family, who is in need of financial assistance at this time, has asked me to share a few words:
After many years of ups and downs, Mitchell had recently reached his ultimate goals in life: a great job, a good place for he and his 12 year-old daughter to live, and the engagement to a beautiful fiancé. Mitchell was feeling blessed, and was making plans for a future with his daughter, fiancé, and his fiancé's two daughters. He was overjoyed with the new family unit he created. Unfortunately, Mitchell began experiencing pains on the morning of December 14th that turned out to be a catastrophic rupture of his heart. He was rushed into surgery which appeared successful at first, but was simply too much for his body to handle. Mitchell passed on the morning of Tuesday, December 15, one month before his 60th birthday. He leaves behind his devastated little girl who was his world, a broken hearted fiancé, two dogs, a cat, and several other animals in need of new homes (please contact Tracy Maisel on Facebook for more information on the animals). Because of the unexpectedness of Mitchell's passing, as well as his Jewish faith, Mitchell's family is struggling to quickly find the funds for his funeral, which they simply do not have. Any donation that you can give in Mitchell‘s memory will go directly to these expenses. Thank you for your kindness and support - Mitchell's Family
