It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of little Maverick Robert Rice. His mother Cassidy gave birth on April 2 to Maverick two months early due to pre-eclampsia. He weighed in at only 3 lbs. 3 oz. He was a little fighter and was close to meeting all of the milestones he needed to be able to go home with his family. Unfortunately, he came down with an infection and his little body was just not strong enough to fight it off. He passed away on Tuesday, May 4. His parents are devastated at the loss of their first baby and are now faced with hospital costs as well as burial expenses for a baby they'll never get to bring home. While money won't bring little Maverick back, it will ease the financial burden faced by Max and Cassidy. Thank you for your generosity.
