It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Speake.

Mark was an integral fixture on the McDonald Theatre and Cuthbert Amphitheater stages-- where he stage managed with an authentic kindness and caring for others. Mark had a love for adventure, and was always seeking to grow his knowledge and skills. His passion for music and his many stories of movie sets and lighting rigs of years past will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Caitlin, his fiancè Tara, and his brother Chip.

As a member of the Kesey Production Crew so eloquently put it: "Mark is doing his new gig in the sky. He’ll have it set for us when it’s our call time."

All funds will go to Mark's daughter, who is handling Mark's funeral arrangements.
