Passing of Mark Han

Dear Friends,
With great sorrow, we share the passing of Mark Han in the early morning of March 26, 2020. He leaves behind his three children Sarah (19), Christian (15), and Ryan (13).
In December 2019, Mark became suddenly ill and it was discovered that he was suffering from throat cancer that was spreading to his lungs. Over many months, while moving from one hospital to another, he courageously battled with the cancer that was ravaging his body.
Unfortunately this is not the first time the family has experienced this kind of tragedy. On July 12, 2014 the family unexpectedly lost their mother, Hyun Joo Han, who passed due to liver cancer.
His daughter Sarah shared the following about her father:
"My dad was one of the strongest people I knew inside and out. Not only that, but he had the sweetest soul for other people. It breaks my heart to see him go after a very long time of staying strong and fighting, but I find peace and satisfaction knowing that he is now rejoicing with our mom in heaven. No more pain, and no more tears. Dad, thank you for being a loving father to us three kids. You were a great father to us and a good friend and coworker to so many. I love you and miss you."
Mark Han Jipsanim was an active member of ANC Onnuri Church in Sunland, CA. He served in the GM Disability Ministry where his kindness and compassion for the students was evident to all who knew him.
Though we know everyone is going through hardship due to Covid-19, we ask that you join us in praying for this beautiful family. Also, if you are able, please consider helping Mark Han's family financially as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in this life without him.
All donations will go directly to his children - Sarah, Christian, and Ryan - to help with end of life costs, future expenses, and setting up a college fund for the children.
