Maria Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been fighting it since 2018. Throughout the years, her condition was stable. She was able to live a peaceful life. But the breast cancer spread to her bone, lungs, and brain in August 2020. Unfortunately, she died on February 6, 2021.

She was a great mother, wife, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. When she loves you, she will forgive everything bad thing you've done. She had many dreams for everyone and wanted the best for the people around her. During her last day, she was surrounded by all the people she loved in her life, who also loved her. 

Maria loved her family the most. She leaves behind a daughter with her father now. She also leaves behind her own mother with her three older brothers. 



My name is Maricar Dela Cruz, and I am her only daughter. I spent the last few months of my mother's life taking care of her. And for a long time, my father also helped take care of my mother at the cost of not being to work well. It was difficult for my mother to continue on every day with the pain she suffered. I am grateful that she is no longer hurting and can finally rest after everything she's endured.
