Karen Krallis Blackburn was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, and friend, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's  at the young age of 54. Having to stop working due to her inability to retain information, Karen and her husband, Ed, struggled to make ends-meet for the next several years. As a result of this, they were eventually forced to sell their house of 40 years in order to pay their bills. During this time, Karen's health and abilities continued to decline. Jennifer, Karen's only child, has continued to provide as much emotional and financial support as possible.  Unfortunately, Karen's health started rapidly declining in November 2018 and she ended up passing on the morning of February 12, 2019, surrounded by her family.
