Passing of Jamie Salinas

Dear friends and family,

It is with deep regret that we are informing you that Jamie Salinas passed away recently in a tragic accident on July 3rd, 2022.

As you may know, Jamie served for 6 years as Production Foreman at PetroLegacy Energy and over 30 years in the oilfield. He loved nothing more than his family and lived for helping others. Jamie was an incredibly selfless person who always took the time to share his knowledge to anyone interested. He served as a mentor and father figure to many on his team as his encouragement extended beyond the workplace. A workday with Jamie was filled with the constant ringing of his phone, education, and laughter. The constant ringing of his phone spoke directly to his knowledge in this career and being the heart of the field operation. Education, because he loved to teach about operational scenarios and solutions he came across over the years. Lastly, laughter because of his “dad jokes” and the way he could always turn a bad situation around with his positive outlook. When he wasn’t talking or thinking about work, his mind was always with his family. Everything he did was to better the lives of those he loved the most, his family. Jamie truly enriched the lives of everyone he came across.
