Passing of Billy Christopher Roth

Billy Christopher Roth, 40 of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19th in a tragic motorcycle accident while on his way to work as a EMT. Billy was a proud Marine, and served honorably both in the service and as a firefighter and EMS technician with the North Topsail Fire Department and Duplin County EMS service.

Billy is preceded in death by his daughter Brittney Roth and father Rick “Pa” Yoder. He is survived by his loving “ol’ lady” Rhiannon Sauerwine of the home; sons Sage Roth, Quinton Roth, Noah Roth, Brayden Roth, and Jackson Roth; his Mom Meridith Yoder of Winnsboro, TX. All donations will be going to the family to help them with food, bills school and sports items for the children and travel cost for his mother in this very difficult time.
