Passing of Beloved dad Rhys

Hey everyone, Caitlin and I are organising some help for our beautiful friend Tanisha and her family.

For those of you who don’t know, yesterday T and her family got the devastating news that God could no longer wait for their beloved Dad, Rhys.

Tanisha is an extremely strong and resilient individual who has spent the past year doing everything she can to ensure Rhys was okay during the illness and passing of his wife, and T’s step mum, Wahkuna. Despite Tanisha hurting, she always put on a brave face and was the company, and shoulder to cry on that he needed.

Anyone who knows T knows that her Dad is her best friend and her everything. The rock of their family and a kind-hearted, selfless man who only ever wanted to help others. A loved Dad to Tanisha and Beverly, stepdad to Shameeka and Levii, and Grandad to Sofia, Jonathan and Mackiayre. A love that cannot be replaced and will not be forgotten.

This is an extremely hard time for T and her family, especially while still mourning Wahkuna’s passing. The funeral and associated expenses can accumulate quickly causing stress and burden on loved ones during this time.

As much as we wish we could take this heartache away from them all, we cannot. We can however ease some of the financial burden and allow them this time to focus on honoring memories and the grieving process.
