Why I'm fundraising

I was a passenger in a vehicular accident on New Years and we flew off the end of the bridge T-intersection into the levee. I have just ended the contract with my job. I was traveling nationwide as a service manager to equip police cars with camera systems. That contract just recently ended. I am the sole provider of my household and I pay all the bills, however, after the crash, I am in a condition where I can not work until I am recovered. I am going to lose the roof above my children's head and wont be able to pay my bills without any help. Me and 2 friends were driving in the delta from Anioch. My friend who was driving was not familiar with the roads and at the end of the bridge was a T intersection. Due to the fog and lack of knowing the area, we flew off the road down into the levee causing a serious accident where I almost died. I was in the passenger seat where the tree almost killed me. We were all rushed to the hospital 2 of us in serious conditions. I have come to find out the driver doesn't have any insurance to help in the situation, so I am not sure what to do. I most likely will be denied unemployment as a contractor. I hate asking for handouts but this is my last resort and attempt to stay afloat and keep the roof above our heads. If you know me, you know that I don't like to ask for help and usually the one giving. I always make sure everyone eats at the table, but nowI am unable to help others muchless myself or my family. Now is the time to be humble and recieve any blessings from those who care and love me as well. I appreciate any help and when Im recovered I will remember those who made sure my life didn't crumble during this time. I pray God protects me and my family though these times and sends blessings to those who took it in their hearts to help me and my family during this tragic and traumatic experience. I just need as much help as possible while I recover so I can get back to providing! Thank you for any and all help. Every little bit counts! Whether its a couple dollars or sharing this fundraiser.
