Pass the Taco Torch!

Hello all and thank you for reading this!

My name is Mike and I am doing this for my friend Paulie. He has built this food truck business here in Paonia to provide a quality meal made with love. It began as a gathering during COVID to keep community alive as a farm to table taco dinner once a week. Each week was a unique menu based on food available in season.

Next, he bought an old postal truck and built this food truck from the ground up. It has become a staple around town and is beloved by many now.

Years ago, he was diagnosed with an inoperable neuroendocrine tumor and has beaten the odds up until now. It is starting to make the work difficult so time to sell the business…

His wishes are to get his money back on the truck (not the time) and keep it in town. The challenge with this is we are in one of the poorest county in Colorado so finding a buyer will be tough…

I decided to jump in on this to see if we can raise enough money to subsidize the truck to an eager entrepreneur here in our town so the business lives on and grows with the community still.

We will post the process of picking the next owner as we get closer to the goal!
