"Pass the Boot" for a Chicago Fire Family Member

My name is John Quilico and I co-manage the location department, along with Mono Wilborn for the NBC television drama series, "Chicago Fire". On the show, "Chicago Fire," our amazing cast and crew has worked tirelessly during our previous 10 seasons to stage very realistic and dramatic action-packed sequences such as vehicle crashes and building fires. During prep for our season 10 finale, our long-time assistant location manager, Will Higgins, suffered a traumatic experience having been awoken overnight to a devastating fire in his apartment, the night before scouting our final locations of the season. Fortunately, he escaped the flames that completely consumed his entire apartment building, but also endured physical burns on his hands as well as cuts to his feet, along with the emotional scars that still linger. Despite having lost all of his personal belongings, many irreplaceable, he continued to work to finish one of the biggest, most dramatic episodic finales in our 10-year history.

While we just wrapped production for the series and most of our cast and crew will be enjoying a long, restful, much deserved, albeit brief hiatus, until we return in July for Season 11, Will Higgins will be attempting to piece his life back together.

In the spirit of the real brotherhood/sisterhood of the Chicago Fire Department, please "pass the boot" and donate any amount you can or are able, to help Will recover unclaimable insurance expenses, medical costs, etc, so that he may worry just a little less about what tomorrow will bring.
