In August of 2015, our family received news that would change our lives forever.  Renee and John found out that John had been diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer that had spread to the lymph nodes, bones and brain.  Since the diagnosis the family has been through so much both physically and emotionally--chemotherapy, immunotherapy, intense radiation, and countless doctors appointments.  

Through all of this John and Renee have maintained a positive attitude in their battle, but it is obviously very tiresome for the family.  

They have been overwhelmed with support from all of you through meals, help, love, prayers and support.  

As you know, cancer comes with a variety of hefty price tags.  One of which is medical treatment and care.  John continues to receive care through Northwestern in Chicago.   

Many people have asked where they can donate to the family, and we wanted to give people an opportunity to donate to the medical costs of the Paseka family in the upcoming months as John continues his treatment.  

Words cannot adequately express how much we appreciate all the help, love, prayers and positive thoughts for the Paseka family.  We want to thank everyone for their generosity and support, and the outpouring of love has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.
