PASCHS NHS Turkey-Syria Disaster Relief for TCCNJ

The Passaic Arts and Science Charter High School's chapter of the National Honors Society is raising money to benefit those who are affected by the recent disasters in Turkey and Syria. We are working with the Turkish Cultural Center of New Jersey, which is aiming to raise $1,500,000 in donations to assist those affected. Since they are very close to reaching this goal, we would like to help them cross the finish line by collecting $5,000 through our School's NHS Chapter.

1) Heavy machines for debris removal

2) Cash distribution

3) Tents, isolation sheets and non-food items

4) Heating materials

5) Emergency food and bread assistance

6) Water trucking and garbage removal

7) Ambulances and medicines

8) Fuel for hospitals and health centers

9) Rental trucks and vans to transport people

10) Reception centers for displaced persons, and

11) Safe spaces for women and girls
