This fundraiser is set up to offset the costs of Pascal's 14-year-old son, Kelvin's, upbringing.

Estelle Dallet, Pascal's eldest sister, will be managing the funds that will be used to pay for expenses such as driving lessons, college expenses, etc.

Dear Team Oceania, Regent and Apollo;

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I have to announce the passing of our dear friend, work colleague and chef extraordinaire Pascal Lesueur.

As many of you may know, Pascal has been fighting cancer for a considerable amount of time, a fight that he fought valiantly right until the bitter end. To give you some idea of his resolve, he never stopped working right up until last week as he wanted to continue to support the vessels' procurement programs. He would feel guilty when asking for time off to meet with his Doctors. He attended our bi-weekly operations meeting just over two weeks ago even though he could no longer communicate; he just wanted to keep contributing in any way he could. I can tell you that he has been
an inspiration to our entire corporate team these past months with his wry smile and relentless attitude against this terrible disease, that eventually took his life.

The likes of Pascal do not come around very often and the Apollo Group and specifically our Culinary Team have been blessed to have his talents since January 2000 when he started onboard Renaissance 5 as a Sous Chef. After a brief stint onboard Celebrity Cruises, Pascal helped us with TMR, a French Tour Operator that chartered the Insignia from Oceania Cruises in the spring of 2003. At the end of that summer and when the charter was over, he joined Oceania Cruises as an Executive Chef, and was later promoted to Food and Beverage Director. Pascal eventually came ashore to support Eric and the culinary teams at sea in 2014. We have all been blessed to have Pascal in our life and he certainly left his imprint on a whole legion of
young chefs over the past 23 years that he has been with us.

Pascal leaves behind his mother, sister Estelle, sister Celine, brother Jean Francois, 14-year-old son Kelvin and his partner Yasmin (Hiyasmin), who has been by his side through this ordeal. He met Yasmin onboard the Marina in 2017 and they
have been together ever since. On behalf of Eric and myself, we have offered all your support and wishes to his family and Jasmin.
