Party Marty Mental Health Fund

So this year on the 5th of August, I turn 30. As most people know, this is the first year i'll be experiencing my birthday without my twin brother, Marty on this earth side. 

Marty took his life in August last year, not long after our 29th birthday.

He was a talented chef and contributed so much to our community in Perth. Marty was adored by people all around the world. He was a hard worker, a committed twin and friend and a wildly and infectiously exuberant character to be around.  The list could go on. 

Mental illness can catch anyone at any time in their lives. It needs to be more understood and spoken about. There needs to be more money put into the treatment and understanding of this disease. Particularly in both my experiences,  with young men in the hospitality industry. A tough, high pressured industry with unrealistic expectations. 

So this year for mine and Marty's 30th, i'm asking for donations to give to the R U OK? Foundation. Those of you who attended Martys funeral will know that it was on R U OK? Day last year, so I thought it fitting to send the funds to a cause that really understands how important it is to reach out and converse with everyone around you. 

The goal is $3000. Get it? If anyone could donate any amount, small or big to get to this goal by the 5th of August, it would be much appreciated!
