If there's one thing we know about Pete Basile, it's that he'd want a party. A big party with all his loved people, screaming blues guitars, good food, and plenty of elbow room for physical humor. So that's what we're doing at the Center for the Arts on Thursday June 25th and that's why we're asking for your support. We can't wait to see you.

Pete was the heart of our community, evidenced in the recent outpouring of love that's been shown in social media posts, on the air of KBUT, and from the barstools of Crested Butte and beyond. His love for music, laughter, and connection touched us all. To celebrate his life, the event we’re creating will reflect his spirit and the joy he brought to all of us.

What your contribution will help cover:

• two amazing bands (TBD ) that promise to be worthy of the occasion 

• rental of the the Center for the Arts, town's most fitting venue

• party rentals, decorations, etc. to put some pop into it

• ancillary costs relating to the event

Any funds raised in excess of core event costs will be split equally between the following causes close to Pete:

• the Epilepsy Foundation

• KBUT community radio

• Crested Butte PROST
