Partnering for Youth Growth at Urban Roots
Tax deductible
The Computershare Twin Cities Sustainability Team and Community Service Group are partnering to raise funds for Urban Roots.
Urban Roots is a local non-profit organization that offers youth paid internship programs, educational activities, and job readiness and life skills training at the intersection of urban agriculture, conservation, and food entrepreneurship. Their programs include a Conservation Program, a Market Garden on 1.5 acres of urban farmland, and a Cook Fresh program, all of which directly benefit the youth interns and the local community in and around Saint Paul. You can find out more about their work here: https://urbanrootsmn.org/.
Each $5 donation gives you a chance to win the Garden of Giving Bucket, which will be filled with items that can be used to further your gardening aspirations this growing season.
In addition to raising funds for this valuable local organization, 44 Computershare employees are volunteering their time to participate in an Urban Roots conservation effort on June 12th.
