We believe every child deserves to feel confident and safe around water — and every parent deserves peace of mind knowing their child has the skills to survive and thrive.

In 2019, I started Swim Kids Waco (now Swim Waco) in my backyard pool with one goal: to equip families for a lifetime of fun and safety in the water.

What began with a few backyard lessons has grown into a year-round swim school with 25 passionate team members and thousands of children who now have life-saving water skills.

But we’ve reached a point where we’re turning families away simply because there isn’t enough pool space. We’ve outgrown every rented location we’ve ever used — and now, it’s time for a permanent home.

This has been years in the making. Many of you have heard us talk about this dream since 2021. There were moments we wondered if we’d ever get here, but we kept going — because we know how much our community needs not just qualified instructors, but a lasting resource that gives every family access to water safety.

️This October, we broke ground on the future home of Swim Waco at 216 Kelly Dr. - Close to Richland Mall and Home Depot. This nearly $3 million project is mostly funded — but we need your help to get across the finish line.

We’re rebuilding everything: roof, HVAC, plumbing — and carving out a brand-new pool right into the slab. Everything from lighting to pool systems is covered by our construction loan.

But there is one part left unfunded. The family changing area — a space that’s clean, private, and comfortable for parents and swimmers.

Your donation will help us build this final piece — with privacy stalls, benches, toddler seats, cubbies, and changing tables — so families can move from lessons to the rest of life with ease.

Why This Matters

Drowning is the third leading cause of unintentional death in children worldwide.

We’ve seen firsthand how early swim education saves lives — like it did for Khloe and Connor.

Khloe’s Story:

At just two years old, Khloe completed our Infant Aquatics program. When she accidentally fell into a pool, she rolled over, floated, and called for help until she was rescued — exactly as she was trained.

Connor’s Story:

At four, Connor saw another child silently sink at a swim party. Remembering what he learned during Safety Day, he shouted for help instead of jumping in — saving his friend’s life.
