Help Save Bobby’s Ranch – A 54-Year Family Legacy

For more than 54 years, Bobby’s Ranch has been a place where horses, family, and community come together. It’s more than just a ranch—it’s a place where memories are made, friendships are formed, and generations of horse lovers have found a home.

A few years ago, someone came to the ranch to write a story about it. What they discovered was something special: genuine people who love horses and treat them like family. Even after learning they were being written about, nothing changed. The people at Bobby’s Ranch remained the same kind, welcoming horse people they had always been.

Unlike many places, Bobby’s Ranch was never created simply as a business. It grew from a deep love of horses that has been passed down through generations. Anyone who has visited can see it in the horses themselves—happy, healthy, and friendly. That kind of care is rare, and it reflects the heart of the family behind the ranch.

Over the years, Bobby’s Ranch has become a gathering place for the community. Families and friends come together here to enjoy the outdoors, ride horses, and celebrate life’s special moments. The ranch offers boarding, trail rides, riding lessons, training, birthday parties, photo shoots, and many other memorable experiences.

Sadly, our generational family ranch recently suffered significant snow damage, leaving us in urgent need of help to rebuild and reopen.

Today, the ranch is being carried forward by the fourth generation—who are working hard to continue the legacy their father and grandfather built. Bob passed away in July of 2024, and our father is now hoping to retire, leaving us determined to keep this special place alive.

Bob was widely known in the horse community. In his younger years, he founded MASOOI, a group for Massachusetts stable owners. He and Bobby had an incredible gift for recognizing extraordinary horses and pairing them with the right riders. Many people found their perfect horses because of them.

Recently, Bob’s great-granddaughter created a touching video of his ashes being spread from the back of his horse on the ranch property. The video went viral and reminded so many people just how much he meant to the horse community.

Over the decades, Bobby’s Ranch has helped create countless friendships, partnerships, and even families. Many people who first came here as children now bring their own children and grandchildren.

Places like this are becoming rare in New England—true family-run ranches with that old-fashioned dude ranch feel, where the animals always come first and everyone is welcomed like family.
