On November 8, a fire broke out in my hometown.  My parents and four siblings all lived there.  All 5 of the families' homes were destroyed.   The businesses of three of my family members were also destroyed.  The family was all able to escape with no physical harm. 

People have been asking what they can do.  We don't know yet what all will be necessary but we know that it's going to take a tremendous amount of time and money to rebuild.   Our family is extremely blessed and while we expect there will be some hard times ahead, we are thankful for all we have.  Many who fled the fire are not as lucky.  

My family has lived in Paradise for nearly 50 years.  It is the only place my siblings and I ever lived growing up.  We love the community and are heartbroken to see so many displaced, suffering, and having to rebuild.   While I started this campaign specifically to help my family, we recognize there are many around us who are much more in need.   All the money received through this page will go directly to families directly affected by the fire, including ours.
