Parma Redmen Football Game Film Conversions
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ryan Madison Jr. and I am a 2019 graduate of Parma Senior High School as well as a former football player and assistant coach for the Redmen.
Over the course of my coaching career, I have made it a priority of mine to preserve as much history of our program as possible to promote it to our community, however when the closing of PSH was announced, it seemed more clear than ever that this research, preservation, and care put into these passion projects for the program was more necessary than ever.
Over the past few years, I have scanned yearbooks, converted VHS/DVDs of old games, and uploaded more modern games from our archive onto the internet for free.
However, the cost of converting the 16mm reels that fill our storage is more costly and cannot be done independently. I have found a quality partner to help convert these films and have a good start in fundraising for this service, but there are a lot of films from the 1950s through the 1980s that cannot see the light of day without these conversions.
Please consider donating if you are a friend of the program or a former player yourself. Whether you played on these teams, or got to see your games from your time posted online for free, the older generations deserve to see theirs as well.
100% of proceeds will go toward conversion.
This project is backed and supported by the Parma Senior High School Alumni Association.
