As you all may know, last August 4th I was hit by a pickup truck that ran a stop sign at a "T" intersection and attempted to pass me on my right hand side while I was riding in my Velomobile on a narrow two lane road. The truck side swiped me on the right giving me-- in all sense of the words-- a full body whiplash. No broken bones, but it busted up the cartilage of my lower right rib cage. I still feel it. My Velomobile was seriously crunched up and totaled.

The driver took 150 feet to stop and if it had not been for other motorists and people yelling I think that he would have kept on going.

Considering that the police did not witness the crash, the driver of the truck was cited for failure to yield.

The driver's insurance company paid my medical bills and will be paying me $7,000.00 USD for my old Velomobile, but that will not cover the full replacement cost.

I don't own a car and this was my primary mode of transportation.

I would appriciate any help, and any amount of money you guys could offer.
