At Parkwood Primary School, we believe in the power of books to inspire, educate, and open up new worlds for our children. That’s why we’re launching the Parkwood Bookworms Reading Challenge—a fun and engaging way to encourage a lifelong love of reading while raising vital funds for our school library and classroom book corners.

Our goal is to raise money to expand our collection of diverse, engaging, and high-quality books, ensuring that every child has access to stories that ignite their imagination and broaden their horizons.

How it works:

Our pupils will set themselves personal reading goals.

They’ll take on exciting reading challenges, from tackling a new genre to reading aloud to younger students.

Family and friends can sponsor their efforts by donating to our fundraiser!

Every donation, big or small, will help us provide more books, better resources, and magical reading experiences for our children. Let’s empower our young readers and make Parkwood a place where a love of literacy truly thrives!
