Park's Recovery Support Fund!

Our much loved friend Park has recently had the great but unexpected news of being offered gender affirming surgery at a subsidised rate. This comes after a long and challenging time of surgery being out of reach due to the significant costs to cover this.

This is a sudden and rare opportunity too good to pass up - happening very soon (13 Nov)!! However because of the sudden and unexpected surgery date, Park doesn’t have the finances to cover the additional recovery costs that are necessary.

These will include follow up appointments, fuel costs getting there and back, additional therapy to assist with wound recovery, covering basic living costs and rent while having to take time off work from their gardening job to recover. 6 weeks is the estimated recovery time and the slightly awkward timing of the surgery means that this will lead into Christmas and the new year when there is no work happening.
