Dancing Classrooms!

The 5th Grade students at Park Lane Elementary are participating in Dancing Classrooms-Philly!  This program's mission is to build social awareness, confidence, and self-esteem in children through the practice of social dance.  Students have learned the fox trot, rumba, swing, tango, waltz, and merengue.  They really enjoy their classes each week.  In May,  twelve students will be selected to go on to compete at the semi-finals in Philadelphia.  I want this to be a memorable and exciting experience for them!  We are trying to raise money to pay for transportation, dance attire, lunch, and a Dancing Classrooms sweatshirt.  Please help  support our hard-working students at Park Lane!!  Cheer them on to Finals!!
