My dear friend Elie Hajj Boutros, a Lebanese citizen, residing in Lebanon is in need of surgery to implant a device that helps him cope with his Parkinsons disease. Elie's case is rare because he has had Parkinson's from childhood. The first device that was implanted had to be removed a few years ago due to infection that set in at the time of the battery replacement procedure.
He is on medicine only now and he suffers greatly with every seizure, some of which last for hours.
Below are pictures of the letter from the surgeon in Turkey. As soon as we raise the necessary funds he will be going to Turkey for his surgery.
