Parkinson's - Lands End to John O'Groats
Thank you for taking the time to check out our GoFundMe page, we (Lewey and Luke) are raising money for Parkinson's UK by cycling the length of the UK from Lands End in the very South West corner of Cornwall to John O'Groats in the North East corner of Scotland. We are aiming to do the ride by ourselves (self assisted) over nine days, totalling 1,577km (980 miles), each day we will be cycling approximately 175km, taking around 7 and a half hours.
We will be setting off on the 21st May 2023 and plan to finish on 29th May.
We have both had family members effected by Parkinson's disease and therefore-aware first-hand of the effects it has on loved ones.
- Lewey is dedicating the ride to his Grandad, Frank Spear who suffered from Parkinson's disease.
- Luke is dedicating the ride to his Grandad, Ian Smith who suffered from Parkinson's disease.
We will be sharing our progress through the event via our Blog , this blog will also have a live location section which anyone who is able to donate can gain access to.
