Parkinson's Disease and Treatment
Donation protected
As most of you have read in previous posts, my brother, Joey Brummett, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. He has been seeing numerous doctors and undergoing different types of therapy and treatment.
New Treatment - While I was visiting him, we became aware of a ground-breaking new treatment for this condition that is producing extraordinary results. My former worship leader received this specific treatment and it has totally changed his life. After talking extensively with he and his wife, I believe they would tell you it essentially saved his life! His name is Clay Coburn and you can listen to him and his wife, Tonya, tell about his journey and treatment at podbean.com HOPE Through a Parkinson’s Diagnosis.
FGF-1 The biotechnology company providing this treatment is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is called Zhittya Genesis Medicine and uses a naturally occurring growth factor called Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF-1). It was discovered in the 1970’s and they are trying to bring this drug to market. This FGF-1 has been able to grow new blood vessels in the human body, including the brain. Research has indicated a lack of blood perfusion to dopamine producing neurons located in the substantia nigra region of the brain lead to classic symptoms of Parkinsons. To date, no negative side effects have been observed from this drug. FGF-1 is believed to reverse the root causes of vascular disorders such as Parkinsons by reestablishing blood flow and promoting the growth of new neurons. (neurogenesis) If you would like to find out more about this treatment, please go online to www.zgm.care.
This treatment is only performed outside the U.S. and the cost is $50,000. along with travel expenses out of the country and is not covered by any medical insurance. My family and I want to make sure we do everything we can to make it possible for Joey to receive this treatment. He was very reluctant to permit me to share this, but we know he is loved by so many people who he has served and ministered to through the years. We know that there are many longtime friends who would love to help make this promising treatment possible for Joey so we wanted to share this message with you and ask you to prayerfully consider how you might help. Deciding on this treatment has been a difficult decision, but with much prayer and research, we believe it is the best possible option out there.
If you would rather contact Joey and Linda directly, please feel free to do so. We would appreciate your prayers as we embark on this journey together with Joey and Linda.
