The Transgender and Non-binary Employee Group, the Rainbow Alliance, and the Art Program have collaborated to commission an original piece from a trans artist based in Boston, Mithsuca Berry. We believe that given the current climate, it is of the utmost importance that we as an institution continue to support and advocate for the well-being of trans people. This mural will showcase the diversity of the patient and employee body here at Boston Children's and also give a local trans artist a permanent spotlight. This mural will be the first thing that many patients and families see as they enter the hospital and will set a pleasant and inclusive tone for their visit.
